What is Travel Green Wisconsin?
It’s a program of certification of businesses and organizations created
by the Wisconsin Department of Tourism for businesses that go above and beyond to make their business greener. Here at Coco, we not only recycle, but re-use. We compost all our food wastes. Most of our light bulbs are CFLs. Our boiler system also heats our water. We use residual heat from ovens and compressors to heat our building in winter. We buy well over 20,000 lbs of local wheat, honey, berries, produce, and products a year, reducing our carbon footprint.
